The Action Ridge Voting Committee launched its new cycle of voter registrations efforts on National Voter Registration Day, September 16, 2025. Over the course of this effort, we spent two days at each of the D207 high schools (Maine East, Maine West and Maine South) and one day at Elmwood Park High School, registering a total of 235 students.
We will continue voter registration efforts throughout 2026, an important election year. The Illinois Primary Election will take place on March 17, followed by the Gubernatorial/Midterm Election on November 3. As of January, we have scheduled voter registration events at both the Des Plaines and Skokie campuses of Oakton College, as well as at Notre Dame High School.
We are also planning additional registration events at local high schools and Get Out the Vote (GOTV) projects as we move through this consequential year. We thank our loyal team of deputy registrars for their invaluable support of the committee’s work and greatly appreciate the continued support of Spotlight Elevate Engage.
