Education

Action Ridge believes that education is foundational to a healthy democracy, an informed community, and a sustainable future.  

We advocate for inclusive, equitable, and well-funded local educational systems that strengthen democracy, promote truth-based learning, and prepare students to be informed, engaged members of their communities. We champion policies and practices that reduce disparities, invest in educators and facilities, and ensure schools are safe, inclusive spaces where students can learn, think critically, and participate fully in civic life.

The Action Ridge Education Committee:

• Shares relevant updates regarding School District 64 and School District 207's annual strategic plans. 
• Attends School Board meetings on topics that relate to Action Ridge's mission and guiding principles.
• Keeps informed of any important or impending measures relevant to Action Ridge's mission and guiding principles.
• Posts any events (such as Parent U) hosted by D64 or D207 that are of interest to Action Ridge members.
